Sometimes it amazes me, how much our dachshunds seem to suffer from a Napoleon complex. Here's that 20some pound dog puffing up to an internal size of 250 plus pounds, explaining their point of view to the world. No matter what the consequences. We humans sure know how to create little wolves in bite size packages. It is that attitude which saves the working dachshund's life fighting one on one in a badger's or fox's den.
Unfortunately, even those of us who do not go out hunting are confronted with these little warriors. Blessed are those dachshunds whose owners understand where their dogs' relentless attitude derives from.......
